Oven & Range Door Won't Close Properly in Yorba Linda

In Yorba Linda's newer master-planned communities, we see oven door alignment issues frequently in the larger homes built over the past two decades. These properties often feature double wall ovens or professional-style ranges from KitchenAid, Samsung, and LG that get heavy use in the spacious family kitchens. The bigger homes in developments near Black Gold Golf Club and along Bastanchury Road typically have full-size ovens that families rely on for holiday cooking and entertaining, which means more frequent door cycling and faster wear on hinges and springs.

The hillside locations throughout Yorba Linda create unique challenges for oven doors. Fine dust and particulate matter blown in by Santa Ana winds can accumulate around door seals and hinge mechanisms, especially in homes up in the Horse Country area and along the foothills near the Santa Ana Mountains. This debris works its way into the door mechanism over time, causing misalignment issues that we don't see as often in the flatter, more protected neighborhoods closer to Imperial Highway.
