Refrigerator Ice Maker Not Working in Simi Valley

Here in Simi Valley, ice maker problems are incredibly common in the homes built during the 1970s and 80s housing boom. Many of these properties still have their original copper water lines, which can develop mineral buildup from our hard water or freeze during those surprisingly cold winter nights when temperatures drop into the 30s. The spacious ranch-style homes with large kitchens typically feature full-size refrigerators from Samsung, Whirlpool, and LG, and these ice makers work overtime during our long, hot summers when temperatures regularly hit the mid-90s.

The combination of Simi Valley's hard water and the dust kicked up by Santa Ana winds creates a perfect storm for ice maker failures.
