Refrigerator Not Cooling in Redondo Beach

In Redondo Beach, refrigerator cooling failures split along predictable lines between the harbor area and North Redondo's inland neighborhoods. Down near King Harbor and the Esplanade, salt air wreaks havoc on condenser coils and compressor components. The condenser coils clog faster here, and we see more thermostat failures from temperature swings between scorching afternoons and cool marine layer mornings. Riviera Village sits in the sweet spot between these extremes, but those renovated bungalows often have mismatched electrical systems where newer Energy Star refrigerators are plugged into outdated circuits that can't handle the load during peak summer months.
