Dryer Loud or Squeaky in Redondo Beach

Redondo Beach's split personality creates two distinct dryer maintenance challenges across our service area. Down by the harbor and along the Esplanade, the constant salt air wreaks havoc on dryer components — we're constantly replacing corroded drum rollers and seized idler pulleys in those waterfront condos and townhomes. The Riviera Village area presents an interesting middle ground where we see both issues depending on proximity to the coast. Those charming renovated bungalows often house older Kenmore and Whirlpool units that have been squeaking along for years, while the newer townhomes typically run Samsung and LG models that develop noise issues when salt-laden moisture combines with inadequate maintenance. The tight quarters in many Redondo Beach homes also mean dryers get pushed against walls or stuffed into closets, restricting airflow and creating vibration points that turn minor component wear into major noise problems.
