Oven & Range Burner Won't Light in Rancho Santa Margarita

In Rancho Santa Margarita's planned communities, we see a distinctive pattern with gas range burner problems that directly ties to the city's development timeline. The original tract homes built throughout the 1990s came equipped with standard Whirlpool, GE, and Maytag gas ranges that are now hitting their 25-30 year mark — right when ignition systems start failing. These older units have mechanical spark modules that wear out, and the Santa Ana winds that sweep through RSM carry fine dust particles that settle into burner assemblies, clogging the tiny ports around the burner caps.
