Dishwasher Won't Start in Northridge

Northridge's housing landscape creates unique challenges for dishwasher reliability, especially in the area's abundant 1950s-1970s ranch homes that dominate neighborhoods around Cal State Northridge and stretching toward the Fashion Center. Many of these older homes have original electrical panels that weren't designed for modern appliance loads, and the combination of aging wiring with California's energy-conscious electrical codes can create startup issues for dishwashers.
