Refrigerator Not Cooling in Marina del Rey

Marina del Rey's waterfront location creates unique challenges for refrigerator cooling systems that we encounter daily in our service calls. The constant salt air flowing off the harbor penetrates into every unit along Fiji Way and the marina channel, where we regularly find corroded condenser coils and deteriorated electrical connections that prevent proper cooling. The humid coastal environment is particularly harsh on the Samsung and LG units common in the newer high-rise developments along Via Marina, where owners often discover their refrigerators struggling to maintain temperature just two to three years after installation.

The older apartment complexes in Admiralty Village and near Oxford Basin present their own cooling challenges, typically housing legacy GE and Kenmore models that were never designed for this level of salt exposure.
