  • IP address logged when you submit a service request
  • Device type, browser type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and referring URL
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7)

Information from Video Consultations:

  • Video and audio recordings of consultation sessions
  • Automated transcripts of consultation sessions
  • AI-generated diagnosis reports derived from session transcripts

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, schedule, and manage appliance repair services and video consultations
  • Send you transactional communications including appointment confirmations, reminders, technician updates, and diagnosis reports
  • Generate AI-assisted diagnosis reports from video consultation transcripts
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Improve our website and services
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect against fraud and ensure security

We do NOT use your information to:

  • Send marketing emails or texts without your separate opt-in consent
  • Sell or rent your personal information to third parties
  • Build advertising profiles or serve targeted ads
  • Make automated decisions that have legal or significant effects on you

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only with:

Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us deliver our services:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Resend (transactional email delivery)
  • Daily.co (video consultation platform)
  • Quo/OpenPhone (SMS notification delivery)
  • Supabase (secure database hosting)
  • Anthropic (AI-assisted report generation from session transcripts only — no personal contact information is shared with Anthropic beyond what is in the transcript)
  • Netlify (website hosting)

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and process your data only as necessary to provide their services to us.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business Transfers: If TruePro is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:

  • Service request records: 3 years from the date of service
  • Video consultation recordings and transcripts: 1 year from the date of the session, unless you request earlier deletion
  • AI-generated diagnosis reports: Retained indefinitely for your reference, unless you request deletion
  • Payment records: As required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years)
  • Website analytics data: 26 months

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

All Customers:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP to any message
  • Request deletion of video consultation recordings by emailing service@trueprohome.com

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA):

While TruePro may not meet the statutory thresholds requiring CCPA compliance, we extend the following rights to all California residents as a matter of good practice:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share
  • Right to delete your personal information
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share your information)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Other State Privacy Laws:

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete it.
