Microwave Door Won't Close in Lake Balboa

Here in Lake Balboa, we see a lot of microwave door issues in the neighborhood's classic 1950s and 1960s ranch homes around Anthony C. Beilenson Park. Many of these kitchens still have their original cabinetry with built-in microwave installations that have been updated over the decades. The constant opening and closing over years of family use, combined with the Valley's temperature swings, puts extra stress on door mechanisms. We frequently service Whirlpool and GE units that were installed during kitchen remodels in the 80s and 90s, where the door latches and torsion springs are finally giving out.

The mature trees throughout Lake Balboa create a beautiful canopy, but they also mean more pollen and dust settling into kitchen appliances during our windy Valley seasons.
