Dishwasher leaks are surprisingly common in Ladera Ranch's newer homes, despite most units being less than two decades old. The Samsung and LG dishwashers popular in this master-planned community rely heavily on electronic sensors and multiple seal points that can fail when exposed to our inland heat and the fine dust that settles from the surrounding hills. We see this frequently in the family homes along Crown Valley Parkway and Sienna Parkway, where busy households run their dishwashers daily and the units work harder than anticipated.

The compact kitchen layouts in many Ladera Ranch townhomes create another challenge — when dishwashers leak in these tight spaces, water can quickly spread to adjacent cabinets and flooring.
