Microwave Turntable Not Spinning in Inglewood

In Inglewood's older neighborhoods around Darby Park and North Inglewood, we see plenty of microwave turntable issues in kitchens that have been through decades of upgrades. Many of these Craftsman bungalows and mid-century ranch homes near Morningside Park have had their original kitchens expanded or remodeled multiple times, and microwaves often end up installed in tight spaces where the turntable assembly gets jostled during construction work. The vibration from heavy foot traffic in these compact homes can also gradually loosen the plastic coupler that connects the turntable to the motor underneath.

The housing boom around SoFi Stadium has brought newer appliances to the area, but we're still servicing plenty of older Whirlpool, GE, and Samsung microwaves that Inglewood families have been using for years. These units see heavy daily use in busy households, and the plastic turntable components simply wear out over time. The summer heat that builds up in Inglewood's inland location doesn't help – it makes plastic parts more brittle and prone to cracking, especially in microwaves installed above ranges where they get extra heat from below.
