Why video diagnosis works for this

Refrigerator noises are incredibly diagnostic. The type of sound (buzz, click, grind, rattle) and its location (top, bottom, back, inside) narrow the cause immediately. Video calls let us hear exactly what you hear.

FAQ

Is a noisy fridge dangerous?+

Not immediately, but certain noises (clicking compressor, grinding fan) indicate parts that could fail soon. Better to diagnose early.

Can you really hear the noise over a video call?+

Yes. Phone microphones pick up appliance sounds well. We may ask you to hold the phone near different parts of the fridge.

What if you can't diagnose it?+

After 35 years we've heard every fridge noise. The sound type and location narrow it to one or two parts almost every time. If we can't identify it, full refund.
